Celestial Firework (打ち上げ花火, Launching Firework/Skyrocket) is one of Palutena's alternate down special moves.

Overview

When Palutena uses this move, fireworks shoot straight up, and they explode on any opponents above her. Upon activation, Palutena is invulnerable for a few frames. The firework itself will catch any fighters in its way and toss them up, dealing 3.2% damage. When the firework explodes, it deals 1.2%.

Customization

Special Move customization was added in Super Smash Bros. 4. These are the variations:

1. Counter	2. Lightweight	3. Celestial Firework
"Prepare for an opponent's attack, and strike back when struck."	"Makes you lighter and significantly faster, but you'll also be easier to launch as a result."	"Shoot a firework into the air. The firework explodes when hit or after a short time."

Origin

Celestial Firework is a power that can be equipped in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is classified as a miscellaneous power, and the explosion deals minimal damage. If Pit uses this power, he will say the name of whichever goddess is playing the role of mission control in the chapter as he launches a firework.
