Revenge (リベンジ Revenge) is Incineroar's down special move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Overview
Revenge is a counterattack that uniquely powers up Incineroar's next move; as a visual indicator, Incineroar will emit a bright orange glow. Unlike most counters, Incineroar still takes damage, albeit at a reduced rate than normal. The power-up goes away either from a period of time passing or by taking too much damage before using it. When buffed, Incineroar's smash attacks get a zoom effect much like other powerful attacks. The counterattack has a flame effect.
Origin
Revenge is a physical Fighting-type move introduced in Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire. It has 60 base power, which is doubled if the user takes damage before attacking. Incineroar can only learn it by Breeding.
Trivia
- Despite only being a Fighting-type attack, Revenge deals flame damage.
