thanks to everyone for contributing to gdorf's page. back when the wiki first came out there was little action around here so i added the recovery and spike/meteors section hoping to spice things up. i greatly appreciate all the technicality corrections and the awesome frame data and animation on the dair decription.--User:ChumpMoney 14:40, July 14, 2007 (EST)

Guys, since when is Ganondorf heavy [as in.. surviving?] ? =O he's not at all too hard to kill vertically, and in my experiences, in any direction. What does M2K's stat guide say? He's a floaty [not lightweight] combo-able character that's not terribly difficult to kill. I think in the article, it's mentioned 2 or 3 times that he's heavy-weight.
I'd appreciate it if someone clarified this.--Firexemblemxpryde 14:16, July 27, 2007 (EDT)

Ganondorf's recovery is better than Falcon's. His down special is more useful for recovery because it has less ending lag in midair and it doesn't travel as far down. ^Pretty much this. While Falcon will travel farther than Ganondorf relying only on jump, air speed, and up special, once you factor in their down specials, Ganondorf gains more distance than Falcon. Ganondorf's slower falling speed plus Wizard's Foot not traveling down as far allows the extra midair jump to make up for the lost height, which is not the case for Falcon with Falcon Kick. And with that extra midair jump, Ganondorf gains more distance than Falcon when recovering. Omega Tyrant 22:57, 5 February 2012 (EST)

Ganondorf in Subspace Emissary?[edit]

I found a video on YouTube which kinda makes me think that Ganondorf is going to be in the Subspace Emissary thing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vK9fGLLQbM

The first 20 seconds, you'll probably see what i mean. Dilophosaurus Rex

I think that vid was a mockery about all the people that have assumed to much and gone to deep in to some of Brawl's "Hints". It doesn't prove anything about Ganon. Rawr!

- Blackadder

But still, if you watch the video, those clouds really do look like Ganondorf, Master Hand, Bowser, and Ridley. Dilophosaurus Rex

Yeah, that was an old rumour. These days it's mostly discarded.

- Blackadder

A Sticker of this phantom-form has been confirmed, however.[edit]

Could we have some sort of confirmation? A screenshot of some sort would be nice, or a link to the video. I think anyways. : / --Janitor ( TalkContribs) 23:32, January 8, 2008 (EST)

Recovery[edit]

Ganondorf's recovery is better than Falcon's. His down special is more useful for recovery because it has less ending lag in midair and it doesn't travel as far down. Despite slower air speed, Ganondorf's recovery is greater. THEAVENGINGBANDIT 22:20, 5 February 2012 (EST)

Pokéball symbol in Melee dojo[edit]

I remember that when the SSBM dojo got released online with all of the characters including unlockable and explaining how to unlock them, I remember how Dr. Mario, Marth, Roy and Mr. Game and Watch didn't use a series symbol at all while Ganondorf used the Pokémon symbol instead of the The Legend of Zelda triforce.
