"Newcomer" trailers
That's incorrect. Sonic's trailer, which features no newcomers, is listed there. Also, Mr. Game & Watch was recently added to Pac-Man's, and Charizard has been attached to Greninja's as long as I can remember. The name of the page is character trailers, not newcomer trailers. - It occurs to me that the opening sentence says "newcomers and third-party", so the page itself is inconsistent. However, sticking by that definition would exclude Charizard, which seems wrong seeing as he got a dedicated portion of the unique animation and a tagline. TheNuttyOne 17:56, 19 July 2018 (EDT)
- Alright, you got me there. Go ahead and change it back (if you haven't already). Aidan, the College-Bound Rurouni 17:57, 19 July 2018 (EDT)
Congratulations
Look, I know this isn't the place to say it, but I just wanted to say congratulations on getting to the admin position, Aidanzapunk! Speed48 15:51, 29 July 2018 (EDT)
- I congratulate you as well, Aidan. I had two previous failed RfAs, which failed because I didn't have enough experience. You certainly do, and I believe you will do good as admin. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Sonic Fan Leave a message if needed 17:19, 29 July 2018 (EDT)
SSBM and SSBB template improvement suggestions
see talk page if you want to see how i suggest just one small feature to change the display name: Template talk:SSBB Template talk:SSBM. Additionally, i don't think MediaWiki:Edit is needed as it changes the text "edit" to "edit this page", which makes the box longer. Conker the Squirrel (talk) 23:16, 31 July 2018 (EDT)
- Also found some other redundant MediaWiki pages from [1], who is a bot from Wikia. Here's some specifics: Searchsubtitle, Noexactmatch, Fileexists, Addsection, Talk (already is "dicussion" by default i think), Tooltip-search (Wikia leftover?), Blockipsuccesstext, Logouttext, Loginsuccess, Sitestatstext, Semiprotectedpagewarning, Noimage, Yournick, Revertpage, Searchresulttext, Disambiguationspage (Special:Disambiguations isn't even a special page). Just thought these could potentially be deleted. Conker the Squirrel (talk) 23:27, 31 July 2018 (EDT)
- As much as I would love to help, I'm currently out on vacation in Montana, and won't be back until Friday. In the meantime, if you have suggestions for things you cannot edit, I would recommend talking to one of the other active admins, and if it's a wiki-specific question, you should talk to the wiki creator. Those have been that way for a long time, there is no reason to get rid of them now. Why do you care? Also for the {{SSBX}} templates adding a display parameter defeats the whole purpose of the template. It's easier to just have [[Diddy Kong (SSBB)|Diddy]] at that point. - Okay, well i was just wondering opinion from a bureaucrat. I don't care that much--I just thought those didn't need to be created. Thanks for response. Conker the Squirrel (talk) 15:22, 1 August 2018 (EDT)
"the graphics don't change, the character models do. **We've already noted that, however**"
I can't find it. Where exactly does it say that? I used Ctrl + F for L button, and models, but nothing is showing up. Unowninator (talk) 11:31, 1 August 2018 (EDT)
