In Smash 64, there is no way at all to get Blast KOs from the upper blast line, whereas you can get those in Multi-Man Melee/Brawl in those respective games, and during versus matches in Smash 4 and Ultimate. I'm thinking this trivia point is pretty clear but if there are more misunderstandings maybe we should reword it or just remove it. Incremental Damage[edit]
I have tested this in Melee: if you are out of the camera boundaries (in the magnifying glass) you gradually increase damage. Try using Peach to float with a Bunny Hood on Final Destination. Don't revert my changes. Gargomon251 22:49, February 18, 2008 (EST)
Sorry. I don't own Melee, and I hadn't seen that in Melee videos. I just assumed it was something new. --Pikamander2 16:31, February 25, 2008 (EST)
Actual name?[edit]
Is "blast line" an actual name coined by Nintendo, or is it something that you fan boys came up with on your message boards? It sounds more like the latter; the article should mention which is true. --67.160.32.3 14:08, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Self-destructing off the top[edit]
I think it's possible to jump yourself to death in Subspace Emissary. I've done it. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 10:59, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
mm, i believe it is also. why do you ask? Kperfekt722 (talk) 11:00, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
It is possible. I think that he's asking because in a regular Brawl, you can only die while in hitstun. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 12:12, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I was mentioning here because I'm not keen on contributing directly to wikis that i'm not heavily involved in; I prefer to leave comments on talk pages and let someone else add it to the article, if and where they see fit. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 18:51, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
Interesting...[edit]

Blast line SSB4[edit]
Can someone add the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U blast line in it? I mean, it looks colorful. Juju1995 (talk) 18:06, 2 November 2015 (EST)
Blast lines across the games[edit]
After much watching fights all over the games, I've come to the edition I just made. Can someone actually prove me wrong? -- BeepYou, a user with no grammar at all :v (talk) 20:20, 20 February 2016 (EST)
- I thought Melee had medium-big blast lines. But then again, there's Kingdom and Venom. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 20:24, 20 February 2016 (EST)
So here's the thing with DUMMY[edit]
It technically DOES have blast lines, it's just that the game will crash (reasons unknown, but I assume it's because the game has trouble processing such large Y position values when a character drops that far) long before they are reached. Serpent King 21:49, 5 June 2016 (EDT)
- Alright... and how long did you know about this?
