The Marioverse, also known as Mushroom Kingdom (Japanese:キノコ王国), is a universe that encompasses characters, items, worlds and storylines from Mario and Yoshi games. Mario (and his alter ego, Dr. Mario), Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Bowser are in the Mushroom Kingdom universe. Donkey Kong and Wario are also featured in Mario games, but are widely considered to belong to their own universes.
