R.O.B. (ロボット, Robot) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was confirmed as a playable character on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
As with all veterans returning from SSB4, R.O.B.'s model features a more subdued color scheme. His body has a duller matte finish, and his eyes are less reflective. Altogether, he more closely resembles the original peripheral.
R.O.B. now has a gauge on his chassis that shows how much fuel he has left for Robo Burner.
Aerial attacks
Neutral aerial has more range.
Throws/other attacks
R.O.B. has a new forward throw where he takes his right hand back and throws them.
R.O.B.'s down throw now buries opponents, allowing for more grounded follow ups at the cost of aerial follow ups.
