The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Captain Falcon (キャプテン・ファルコン, Captain Falcon) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was confirmed on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
The top of his racing suit is now a piece of armor.
The text on the back of Captain Falcon's "Blood Falcon" costume variant reads "HELL HAWK" instead of "BLOOD HAWK" as it appeared in previous installments.
Ground attacks
Captain Falcon has a new forward smash: a backhand punch enveloped in fire.
Aerial attacks
Neutral aerial seems to launch opponents at a slightly lower angle.
Special moves
Like several other powerful attacks in the game, Falcon Punch displays a dramatic slow motion effect when it successfully hits an opponent.
Falcon Dive has Captain Falcon flash with an orange tint when grabbing an opponent. It additionally has a new animation, in which he grabs his opponent with one hand while leaning more, and the flip after grabbing an opponent now has him spin slightly.

- Interestingly, the text that reads "HELL HAWK" on the back of Captain Falcon's "Blood Falcon" costume variant was originally what the text read during the development of Super Smash Bros. Melee, but was changed to "BLOOD HAWK" in the final version of the game.
