Samus (サムス・アラン, Samus Aran) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was confirmed on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Throws/other attacks
Samus has a new up throw animation. She now uses her Arm Cannon to blast her opponents upwards instead of using her Grapple Beam.
Special moves
Charge Shot can now be charged mid-air. It can be cancelled by jumping or airdodging.- Bomb now explode upon enemy contact.

- Despite no longer being linked by in-battle transformation, Zero Suit Samus temporarily dons the Varia Suit during her Final Smash.
