Germ, formerly known as The GERM, is an American Super Smash Bros. Melee player from Northern California known to be one of the best Link mains in the world. He is well known for his aggressively fast play style with Link and has achieved the most success as a Link main in tournaments. He is primarily famous for putting together and editing DBR's Evolution, and for his part in the same video as a player. He also created Linkology and The Hylian Nightmare, two supplementary Link videos. Germ has been playing Melee competitively since 2002.
