Template:Character Mario is a character who has appeared in all three games in the Super Smash Bros. franchise. Mario, considered the "all-around" character (as he is in most games), is well-balanced with great close-range smash attacks and good long range, Mario currently ranks as Middle Tier. Mario debuted in Donkey Kong on the NES, and has been the main videogame mascot for Nintendo since.
Mario is available as a starter.
