Animal Crossing known as Dōbutsu no Mori (どうぶつの森, lit. "Animal Forest") in Japan, is the first game of the Animal Crossing franchise, appearing first in the Nintendo Gamecube (Nintendo 64 in Japan).
In "Super Smash Bros Brawl"
- Smashville is a stage based on the villages of the Animal crossing games, also some villagers like Toom Nook appear in the background.
- Mr. Resetti, who appears as an Assist Trophy in Brawl, makes his first appearence in this game.
