#REDIRECT [[B-reversing#Wavebounce]]
'''Wavebouncing''' is a technique found in [[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]. The technique is used for defence and offence. To preform a wavebounce, the C-stick must be set to special moves. The player must jump and then tap the C-stick in the opposite direction that they are facing. Instead of a normal Side-B, where the character will continue forward, the character will bounce backward while simeoultaniously preforming an attack. This move works with other special moves as well. The up special move can be used by pointing it up diagonally in the oppsite direction. The down special can be used in a similar way, except by pointing it down diagonally. The neutral special is can be used either way but it requires a precise diagonal tilt.

Certain characters benefit more from wavebouncing more than others.
