:I'm gonna go with my gut here. There's no real concrete description, but generally, an amateur is someone who doesn't attend tournaments and has little skill, and has only played against pros in friendlies, if at all. Basically a no-namer. A pro-am is someone who goes to tournaments but doesn't make big impacts in regionals, or can only do well in very small tournaments. A semi-pro is someone who can hold footing with stronger players, may be ranked on their PRs, and usually makes it out of pools at regionals, but doesn't make money from playing because they don't place very high. --Timson622222 (talk) 22:47, 7 June 2014 (EDT)

:Heyo. I'm not too familiar with Brawls scene as a whole, but here's how I view it.
:2013-2014 was around when Melee started to pick up speed again while Brawl was on the decline. Since the matchup chart was made in 2013, which was around the end of Brawls popularity, I feel like it is still a solid representation of Brawl matchups, at least moreso than Melees. There are some slight inaccuracies such as Pikachu-MK being "even" when nearly every Pikachu main agrees that this isn't the case, but aside from a few new obscure techs being discovered, there haven't been significant metagame advancements since then, so the matchups should still hold. I do think you should get someone like OT to input on this, though, since I stopped following Brawl after around this time. -- Yellow of the Grove 23:25, 24 June 2017 (EDT)
::As I understand it, matchups haven't really had an update (all 3 games) 5+ years, putting both Melee and '64 horribly out of date. This would be true of Brawl as well but since the game has been more or less dead since 2013 or so, there hasn't really been any advancement in the meta. If someone could look up when the last matchup spread came out, if it was close to the game's decline point, we could potentially consider the matchup spread to be up to date on those terms. Serpent King 23:39, 24 June 2017 (EDT)
Game and Watch Melee
How are some of the matchups I added there depicted? I think his current metagame improved slightly but his perception remains more or less the same. MemeDedede (talk) 11:38, September 29, 2019 (EDT)
:I'm not super knowledgeable on Game & Watch and I haven't been able to find too much new info on him, so for now I think we can assume his matchups are more or less the same; maybe slightly less awful than before if anything. -- Yellow of the Grove 14:00, September 29, 2019 (EDT)
KPAN
Hi, I hope this isn't out of nowhere, but I'm friends with Hannah, and I spoke with her in case she wanted any information removed. She wanted to thank you for the detailed write-up you did on KPAN's page. The older edits glossed over the details, and having the full story is helpful in spreading the word. Thanks for listening. ~ Serena Strawberry (talk) 16:32, July 3, 2020 (EDT)
:Hey, thank you for confirming with her that the write-up was okay. I initially thought I was putting too much about it on the page, but figured it was important to document the full timeline of events. I'm so sorry for what she had to endure, and I can't imagine having to deal with him continuing to downplay his actions even to this day. I'm glad that I could help get her story out. -- Yellow of the Grove 17:24, July 3, 2020 (EDT)
My B.jpg
You mentioned in an edit summary that you were wanting to preserve "My B.jpg". Were you still planning on using it? I was going to mark it for deletion since it is unused but wanted to check with you first. --CanvasK (talk) 22:16, April 20, 2021 (EDT)
:Yeah, I was going to put it on my AFD 2021 archive but didn't get around to it. I'll do that now. -- Yellow of the Grove 00:11, April 21, 2021 (EDT)
