The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the Trn template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

:I'm gonna go with my gut here. There's no real concrete description, but generally, an amateur is someone who doesn't attend tournaments and has little skill, and has only played against pros in friendlies, if at all. Basically a no-namer. A pro-am is someone who goes to tournaments but doesn't make big impacts in regionals, or can only do well in very small tournaments. A semi-pro is someone who can hold footing with stronger players, may be ranked on their PRs, and usually makes it out of pools at regionals, but doesn't make money from playing because they don't place very high. --Timson622222 (talk) 22:47, 7 June 2014 (EDT) | :I'm gonna go with my gut here. :::He got 5th in a national(?) Chilean tournament that had ZeRo and Dark in attendance (here's him playing in losers' quarters). Plus, if we have pages about people who run YouTube channels like GRsmash now, I definitely think someone who's had a channel for much longer with about as high quality content deserves a page too, especially since they're also skilled at the game. --Timson622222 (talk) 23:56, 18 February 2016 (EST) | :::He got 5th in a national(?)
