While I prefer both of these to the proposed NIWA logo, I prefer both Mako Shark's proposed logo and our old logo to these two. I prefer my own design because I'm obviously biased, however, I like the second design more than the proposed NIWA logo, as everyone else also appears to, so I'd support it over that.
