When you upload the banner and character select images for the events, do you mind adding <nowiki>[[Category:Event Tourneys]]</nowiki> to the summary? It just saves the step of adding it afterwards. --[[User:CanvasK|CanvasK]] ([[User talk:CanvasK|talk]]) 07:45, August 5, 2020 (EDT)

==Most historically significant characters tournament list==
A quick heads up, when you add a tournament to a player's section, make sure that the total number of tournaments listed is 5 or below, so we can prevent the sections form being overcrowded. When adding tournaments to the "List of major tournaments" page, please make sure that the entrants number is for singles rather than total attendance. Thank you! [[User:PokemonMasterJamal3|PokemonMasterJamal3]] ([[User talk:PokemonMasterJamal3|talk]]) 00:35, November 14, 2022 (EST)
:Once again, please check the entrants for singles and not the total attendance. [[User:PokemonMasterJamal3|PokemonMasterJamal3]] ([[User talk:PokemonMasterJamal3|talk]]) 03:28, February 21, 2023 (EST)
== Entrants again ==
As I've mentioned before, the number that goes on "List of major tournaments" is supposed to be the entrants for singles, not the number displayed in "Attendance" on the infobox for the page.
While this hasn't been an issue from you since LVL UP EXPO 2023, I imagine that this is due to the fact that most of the majors held since then (with the exception of Delfino Maza 2023) either had the numbers listed in "Attendance" coincide with the actual singles entrants or were held alongside other games, thus meaning it was necessary to look at the singles entrants.
As a reminder, '''''please use the number listed [https://www.ssbwiki.com/Tournament:Port_Priority_8#Super_Smash_Bros._Ultimate_singles here] in the future'''''. [[User:PokemonMasterJamal3|PokemonMasterJamal3]] ([[User talk:PokemonMasterJamal3|talk]]) 16:04, November 13, 2023 (EST)
:Also, it'd definitely be appreciated if you responded to this so I could know if you've seen it, especially since you haven't responded to my posts in the past. [[User:PokemonMasterJamal3|PokemonMasterJamal3]] ([[User talk:PokemonMasterJamal3|talk]]) 16:27, November 13, 2023 (EST)

==Players who won a major==
A quick thing, in a case of a tie, players should be listed by number of supermajors first, and if that number is also tied then the players should be listed in alphabetical order. == Entrants yet again ==
Please use the numbers listed [https://www.start.gg/tournament/48-sp-1/event/1on1 here] or [https://www.start.gg/tournament/48-sp-1/attendees?filter=%7B%22eventIds%22%3A%5B%221147943%22%5D%7D here]. Do not use the number listed next to "attendees", as it does not always include players signed up for singles.
