As implied by [[SW:AGF]] and [[SW:YAV]], new users are best welcomed warmly, and given advice about how to edit and interact with the community. That is why I advise against making comments such as [http://www.ssbwiki.com/index.php?title=User_talk:CraptinFalcon&diff=430821&oldid=430819 this], which can discourage new users. It's natural for users to start out by making a few edits to their userpage, and then browse around the wiki. It's possible that he/she edited before as an IP, and he/she created an account in order to formally join the community. That is why I welcomed him and helped him out, before he began making mainspace edits. Generally you should wait a bit before expecting lots of mainspace contributions, since new users may be unsure of where to edit, or even confused as to how to user wiki formatting (as was the case with CraptinFalcon).
