In regards to your userbox question, we have a [[Template:UBX|Template for userboxes]]. As for the "image codes", mess around with some other images already in articles to get a feel of how they work (but do not save -- preview is your best friend on a wiki). Smashwiki has its own [[SW:SAND|Sandbox for you to put stuff in]]. Also, as Mouse pointed out, be sure to edit the wiki articles to help out.
