Probably better to discuss this subject [[Template talk:Infobox Tournament Series|on its talk page]]. == CEO has surpassed GOML. ==
I'm trying not to start an edit war or anything but I just wanted to add the CEO '16 updated entrants due to the tourney surpassing GOML. Please don't be mad if I'm updating based on tournaments surpassing other tournaments. I'm just trying to help. --[[User:Falcon-X|Falconian Leader]] ([[User talk:Falcon-X|talk]]) 20:00, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
:What youre doing is good, however registration must end  [[File:PoultrysigSSB4.png|20x50px]][[User:Poultry|<font color="red">'''Poultry'''</font>]][[File:PoultrysigSSBM.png|20x50px]]''([[User talk:Poultry#top|<font color="blue">talk</font>]])'' the God-Slayer 20:07, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
:I understood what you did, but once the tournament is already showcased on the list it shouldn't be updated again until registration closes. I'm actually starting to think it's better to don't let tournaments be added ''before'' registration closes and numbers are final, exactly to avoid this kind of discussion.[[User:PFFP|PFFP]] ([[User talk:PFFP#top|talk]]) 20:58, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
::I was wondering the same thing. I mean a forecast is just that, a prediction. == Do you use r/Kappa? ==
About the Big E post on Facebook, you said in the [[List of largest Smash tournaments]] history page something about r/Kappa. Do you use r/Kappa? I wouldn't use that site because it is flooded with "Whooty Wednesday" and "Thick Asian Thursday" posts. They also tend to bully notable FGC members like <nowiki>EMP|TriForce</nowiki>, <nowiki>GG|Sherryjenix</nowiki>, LowTierGod, and <nowiki>TS|Arturo "Sabin" Sanchez</nowiki>. r/Kappa has probably hurt many people's feelings and I really don't like visiting it anymore because of their trollish nature. If you're going to find info regarding Smash tournaments and news, please insist on using r/SmashBros as they don't post random shit and the fact they talk about more important topics (confirmations, entrants, sponsorships, etc.). Sorry if this is not relevant but r/Kappa is just too immature compared to other subreddits involving fighting games. Thank you for your time. --[[File:FXSig2.png]] [[User:Falcon-X|<span style="color:Red;text-shadow: 0px 0px 5px Red">'''Falcon-X'''</span>]] [[User talk:Falcon-X#top|<span style="color:Blue;text-shadow:0px 0px 5px Blue">'''('''''VISIT MY DOJO''''')''' </span>]] 10:53, 9 June 2016 (EDT)
:People that visit r/Kappa regularly know what they're in for when they use it, and Triforce and LowTierGod are hardly saints ('''''especially''''' Triforce). It seems rather rude to post on someone's talk page to ask them to stop using a particular website.  [[User:PokemonMasterJamal3|PokemonMasterJamal3]] ([[User talk:PokemonMasterJamal3|talk]]) 11:21, 9 June 2016 (EDT)
I wasn't telling him to stop, I was asking if he uses it and I brought it up because he mentioned r/Kappa when he RVed my update on the Melee numbers at EVO, which came from a reliable TO (Eric "Big E" Small is an FGC TO who hosts Winter Brawl, Summer Jam, and NEC; EVO is not a Smash-oriented tournament, it is FGC-run, which is why the post was okay).
* Joey also confirmed that Marvel has ~600 preliminary #'s in this tweet: [https://twitter.com/EvilMrWizard/status/740276727335686146 About Marvel]
* He also said that Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- is ahead of Mortal Kombat XL: [https://twitter.com/EvilMrWizard/status/740173566755278848 GGXrdR vs. MKXL]
* Believing Joey's tweet, Melee is roughly a few hundred behind SSB4: [https://twitter.com/EvilMrWizard/status/739857757939990528 Melee vs. Smash 4]
* Add those tweets up with Big E's facebook post, which also had the recent preliminary numbers for SF5, Pokken, SSB4 and here it is. [https://www.facebook.com/2BigE3/posts/10153609180915778 Preliminary numbers by Big E]
Do you believe me PFFP, because Reddit is usually used for rallying. The r/Kappa post probably had Big E's post rallied on the site. If you can prove me wrong, please reply. Thank You! --[[File:FXSig2.png]] [[User:Falcon-X|<span style="color:Red;text-shadow: 0px 0px 5px Red">'''Falcon-X'''</span>]] [[User talk:Falcon-X#top|<span style="color:Blue;text-shadow:0px 0px 5px Blue">'''('''''VISIT MY DOJO''''')''' </span>]] 13:22, 9 June 2016 (EDT)
:The Big E post is a copy/paste of a post I made on r/Kappa, gathering the latest information on the EVO registration numbers. [https://www.reddit.com/r/Kappa/comments/4n1pux/evo_2016_numbers_what_we_know_so_far/ This post]. Big E saw it on r/Kappa, posted it on his Facebook which is linked to his twitter and Mr Wizard retweeted. Then [https://www.reddit.com/r/Kappa/comments/4n1pux/evo_2016_numbers_what_we_know_so_far/d41r14d Tony Cannon confirmed it].
:My point was: don't update the List of Largest Smash before registration closes. We all know Melee is past 1,500 entrants, and that Pokkén is probably very close to that. I'm also a sucker for Guilty Gear and really really really want to see that game get into the 1k Club. And I use r/Kappa for years now, it's not a 100% bad place. It's like 4chan, where there's the good, the bad and the ugly. I usually upvote the good and downvote de ugly. [[User:PFFP|PFFP]] ([[User talk:PFFP#top|talk]]) 17:04, 9 June 2016 (EDT)
== Hopefully this will settle the Pokken pot bonus debate on the [[EVO 2016]] table. ==
This tweet by the EVO TO, Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar confirms that Pokkén Tournament's bonus pot is $10K and NOT $20K.
([https://twitter.com/EvilMrWizard/status/748878489462247424 Mr. Wizard replying to my question regarding Pokkén's bonus pot]).
I follow the FGC as well, no surprise, I wanted to get this out of the way before an edit war occured. You can thank me for asking Joey for this wonderful confirmation. Thank you for your cooperation. :) --[[File:FXSig2.png]] [[User:Falcon-X|<span style="color:Red;text-shadow: 0px 0px 5px Red">'''Falcon-X'''</span>]] [[User talk:Falcon-X#top|<span style="color:Blue;text-shadow:0px 0px 5px Blue">'''('''''VISIT MY DOJO''''')''' </span>]] 10:54, 1 July 2016 (EDT)
