Please don't do this again. I am 100% sure this IS a color swap of Captain falcon, I have many more arguments to prove your lightning theory wrong.

- Lightning CANNOT make colors grey, his boots seems to be grey in this picture rather than gold. (Obvious difference)

- The colors shown in the picture match his previous F-zero X expansion pack colors. These appeared in Ssb, ssbm, ssbb and now also ssb4. (It would make no sense to remove it now)

- Did I forgot to mention that Shulk does seem to have his original colors in the picture? :Sometimes, some unneeded fields that don't apply to the subject can be removed without harming the visual appearance of the page. The only thing that changes is code size.
