Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Ninten weighs 42 kg, is 152 cm tall, and has blood type A. Alluding to this Ninten will be a lightweight fighter, the lightest of the EarthBoundians. While intended to be the all-around character in Beginnings, Ninten's stats, excluding Wisdom, are all above average in the game. Ninten will be a fast character with above average strength. He has fast walking and dashing speed, low falling speed, andlow gravity. His air speed is the fastest in the game, while his air acceleration is between Ness and Lucas.

For his forward smash he uses an aluminum bat. It deals less damage than Ness's (12 low, 16 mid, 19 tip) but has higher knockback (75 base, 71 scaling) and uses a unique aluminum bat sound and the "ping" sound when tipped like the one used for the Home-Run Bat. His bat will have "Hank" written on it referencing the {{s|wikibound|Hank's Bat}}. Like Ness's it reflects projectiles. His up smash and down smash will be the same as Mario's.

His neutral aerial will be identical to Mario's, his up aerial will be Ness's uair prior to ''Ultimate'', and his back aerial will be a backwards roundhouse kick. For his down aerial he does a palm strike downwards that has a modest [[meteor smash]]. Ninten will have a unique foward aerial, where he will use a {{s|wikibound|slingshot}} where he shoots a rock forward similar to Villager's, except the rock is larger and has KO potential.

Ninten's main weakness, however, will be his low endurance. Being a lightweight he cannot survive as long as the other EarthBoundians do and can get KO'd more easily. Like the other two his close range causes him to struggle with swordfighters or characters with disjointed hitboxes.
