Initially a [[Mario]] [[main]], '''Levi''' (=]) opted to take up a wide variety of characters and abandon the "[[main]]" concept shortly after participating in several of Calgary's bi-weekly [[tournament]]s, hosted by the [[Pro Impact Players]]. 

==Background==
Prior to the inception of [[Pro Impact BI-WEEKLY Smash]], Levi was a resident of St. Albert, Alberta and maintains close ties with rural Alberta smashers such as [[Jiangshadow]] and [[~.~?]], often deferring to the St. Albert crew in regional [[crew battle]]s. Today, he stands as one of the strongest competitors in the Calgary community and assists with the organization of [[Teh Fair]]'s [[Central Alberta Smash Tournament]].

***Crimson Silence***

The '''Crimson Silence''' was a two-man  Canadian [[crew]] from Calgary, Alberta consisting of the following members:

* '''[[Buddyvishnu]]''' ([[Falco]]/[[Marth]])

While still young, the crew was still very eager to get their names out.

== Tournament Activity ==
Even while the crew was fairly new to the competitive scene, its members had discussed and planned to participate in crew tournaments around the province. Using their "Thunder and Lightning" technique they hope to become renowned in the Smash community, both locally and worldwide. They began participating in the [[Pro Impact Players]] bi-weeklies starting January 14th, 2007 and hope to participate in future Red Deer and Edmonton tournaments.

==Reformation==
On February 28th, 2008 the two man clan from Calgary, Alberta broke down to rethink their image for the coming [[Brawl]] release. With a little work the clan reformed to become the [[Blue Brigade]]. Changing the crew colours from red to blue, the [[Blue Brigade]] begins anew in the ashes from what was left of the Crimson Silence.

'''Super Smash Bros. University''' is an organization of [[smashers]] in the province of Alberta, Canada dedicated to the promotion of competitive [[Melee]], [[Brawl]] and [[Project M]]. Frequently partnering with other gaming organizations in the region, the group stages tournaments all across the province throughout the year.

The efforts of the players behind this organization have made significant strides in creating a brand new community of players since the resurgence of competitive smash, as well as reviving interest in many of the retired players that formed a strong Alberta community during the 2000s. The Super Smash Bros. University has the advantage of holding the majority of their meetings in the three largest universities in the province, utilizing the venue and resources at their disposal to regularly produce high-quality live streams.

Using an Elo rating system, the Super Smash Bros. University has maintained a separate list of rankings for each of the two major regions in Alberta, loosely divided into north and south halves, as well as separate rankings for Melee, Brawl and Project:M.
