Introduction

Hello everyone, I am CPG! Smash fan since the N64 game came out when I was 12 years old. Despite playing the series for years, I'd consider myself average at best. Ah well.

Stray Thoughts about Smash Bros.

• Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is underrated... before Super Smash Bros. Ultimate came out. I spent more time playing for 3DS then I did Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Smash Run is an absolute blast with friends, and the portability was great for the few years it was out before Smash made it to the Switch. I was hoping the mode would return to Ultimate, but unfortunately it was not to be.
• Spirits mode is one of the most addictive modes I've ever played. I wish there was informational text that accompany the spirits like trophies, but this fan website is quite a good replacement. I really enjoy figuring out all of the references within the battle, and I've been updating the Spirit battle information as much as I can. There is missing information, such as:
  • 27. Baby Peach - Is the character inspiration suppose to be Mario or Baby Mario?
  • 1,087. Nico Fire - Someone edited Fox and Sonic that their character inspiration are StreetPass dogs and cats. I thought they would be the RC cars?
  • 1,148. Satoru - What are the character inspirations for Bowser, Mewtwo and Ridley? As in what specific monsters?
  • 1,216. Dr. Lobe - What do the two Kirby fighters represent in this spirit battle?
  • 1,221. Satoru Amatsubo - What is the character inspiration for Mega Man?
  • 1,248. Ando Kensaku - What is the character inspiration for Mr. Game & Watch?
  • 1,271. Allen - What are the character inspirations for King K. Rool and Ridley? As in what specific monsters?
  • 1,307. Igor - What is the character inspiration for Ridley? One forum I've read noted that it could be the concept of evil itself?
