Greetings I'm BibleAnimeGamer, formerly known as CaptainDabsalot. I am a fan of Nintendo, at least of their past, and Smash Bros. I bought a Wii U in November 2016 and also own SSB4. I bought the SSBU Nintendo Switch in November 2018.

Origins

I was born February 12 in Dallas TX.

In 2016 one of my friends told me to play SSF2 Beta. Having only played Mario Kart Wii, Cars 2, and Nascar Unleashed I decide to play Peach. So after only using Neutral Attack/Special against Ichigo on Bombfactory I switch to Link. He seemed good with a sword and with a bow and arrow so he became my main. Months later I was trying out new characters. Pit seemed better than Link because he had two swords that fused together into a bow, he could jump more than once, could aim his arrow up, left, or right, and could control his arrow while it was flying. So Pit became my main b/c of his moveset. Afterward I was playing Pikachu and decided to main him for all time. My tag comes the Dab meme. Also one of my friends called himself SirDabsalot so I decided to dedicate it to my Mario Kart Main Toad. On the subject of MKWii my younger brother mained Yoshi in MKWii and SSF2 but later switched to Bowser for both so started to main Yoshi and invented #ToadvsYoshi. Dark Pit & Pichu are only my mains because of their similar movesets to Pit and Pikachu respectively.

I eventually stopped being a big fan of Nintendo during the Switch era. This was compounded by not having many Switch games as well as well as hearing about how Nintendo treats their community. I've stopped being as much of a gamer. I'm an aspiring novelist.

History on SSBWiki

I have been reading this since fall of 2017. On December 6, 2017 I joined the wiki to trivia to Yoshi (it was quickly removed). If you look at this page's history and my talk page you'll see that was almost on probation. Now, however I contribute to this wiki pretty consistently and my user page about every 100 edits, mostly. I took a break for a while, can't remember why but there isn't much I can do to help, but I try. After my 2021 AFD I disappeared from the wiki for over a year, before a brief return, and then a return over a year later.
