[[Downloadable content (SSBU)|DLC]] character and is the 2nd downloadable character for the Fighters Pass 2. Waluigi will be released in ??? 2020. Waluigi is classified as Fighter #??.

Charles Martinet's portrayals of Waluigi in the {{uv|Mario}} games, mainly ''Mario Kart Wii'' and ''Mario Kart 8'', were repurposed for ''Ultimate''.

*Their reveal trailer is almost exactly like {{SSBU|King K. Rool}}'s and {{SSBU|Banjo & Kazooie}}'s trailer.
**Luigi dressing up as Waluigi may reference the perceived similarities between them, as they are both partners to their main character.
**The opening part is nearly identical to {{SSBU|Banjo & Kazooie}}'s trailer, with the only difference being the addition of Ness and Lucas fighting Porky to the hand-drawn section.
*Their introduction tagline is a reference to Walugi's line.
