::It's not the wiki's responsibility to endorse anything, nor should it being doing so as a neutral arbiter, an article existing or not is not any sort of "seal of approval", if you wanted to advertise your tournament you take elsewhere on social media sites where it's not only more appropriate but also a lot more effective. You're completely delusional if you think anyone's attendance of any tournament is decided by if they have a SmashWiki article or not, pretty much no one would have been seeing your article other than users doing janitorial work here that probably don't even play competitively. Omega Tyrant 00:44, August 30, 2021 (EDT)

:I agree with the first part of your comment, that is not your role at all. and I disagree with the second part because I don't feel like I said any of that. I don't think having a wiki page would change a tournament's attendance lol.. Like I've mentioned before, Power rankings(better than most regions posted on this website), Some of the more prominent crews at the times (again), and some of the bigger tournaments would have still help in some capacity but I don't think of it as something like going from 40 to 400 lol. That's not what I said at all.(It would have maybe helped in the sense that if people saw those (because they would have been posted on our forum and whatnot.) It would have gathered a tad bit more attention, but like I said earlier there, It is not the website's problem. The problem I had, was how it was handled, so I think we're arguing about different things. Not only that but, I do feel like even though it wasn't the website's problem than maybe not all of it but most of it should have been accepted at the time in some capacity. I think seeking legitimacy in the smash world, even after having that many people enter was still something we were looking for at the time for sure. And today, I accept the decision as is.
