In ''Melee'' singles, {{Sm|Wizzrobe}} and {{Sm|Nintendude}} defeated {{Sm|Axe}} and {{Sm|Zhu}}, respectively, to make it into the top 8 from winners' bracket, and {{Sm|The Moon}} became the third {{SSBM|Marth}} player to take a set off of {{Sm|Fly Amanita}}'s {{SSBM|Ice Climbers}}, doing so in losers' bracket to make it into top 8. Zhu also defeated Axe in a close set in losers' semis, and {{Sm|Hax}} took a set off of {{Sm|Mew2King}} after making it to grand finals from losers' bracket. In ''Project M'' singles, {{Sm|Junebug}} made it to grand finals through winners' bracket after defeating Wizzrobe, {{Sm|NinjaLink}}, and {{Sm|Emukiller}}, and {{Sm|Frozen}} defeated Wizzrobe in losers' bracket to make it into the top 8. {{Sm|ZeRo}} also managed to win ''Project M'' singles through losers' bracket after losing to {{sm|NinjaLink}} in the second round of winners' bracket.
