This tournament marked the return of {{Sm|SuPeRbOoMfAn}} to competitive console play. His character choice was determined by a [https://twitter.com/SuPeRbOoMfAnSSB/status/1642583918179385345 Twitter poll], won by Fox with 28% of the vote. As a result he used exclusively Fox in both Singles and Doubles.
