WINNER! -EPI2 Last chance Qualifier- was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate special edition of the WINNER! series, held in Tokyo, Japan, on November 8th, 2021. The event was a qualifying tournament for Eastern Powerhouse Invitational 2. Players were not eligible to enter the event if they had either already been confirmed or could not adjust their schedule to attend EPI 2.
Tournament summaryEdit
Noi (#2 seed) would win the tournament through winners, and qualify for Eastern Powerhouse Invitational 2. Noi made it to Grand Finals by overcoming game 3 sets against kisa (#31 seed), Mao (#7 seed), Yuusuky (#38 seed), and Ly (#1 seed).
Yamanaction (#4 seed) would each grand finals despite being upset by Yuiton (#29 seed) in their first set by winning 9 sets in losers. However, Noi would defeat Yamanaction in Grand Finals 2-0.
Yuusuky, a player more known for their accomplishments on Wi-Fi had the surprise run of the event. Yuusuky would upset Twinkle (#27 seed), Futari no Kiwami Ah~! (#6 seed), Rotsuku (#22 seed), and Umeki (3rd seed) to place 5th.
