Umebura SP 11 was the fourth P-tier of the [[LumiRank 2024.2|2024.2 season]]. Just like [[Tournament:Umebura SP 10|the last iteration in January]], the tournament featured many of Japan's best players, including 68 of the 84 Japanese players ranked on the [[LumiRank 2024.1|LumiRank 2024.1 top 150]], with the only notable top Japanese player missing being {{Sm|Yaura}}, who was on a hiatus. Both {{Sm|Maister}} and {{Sm|MkLeo}} also came to the tournament, being the 2 main invaders.
The only two notable upsets over top players before top 256 were {{SSBU|Bayonetta}} main and #223 {{Sm|Imokenpi}} defeating 3-2 #34 {{Sm|Yamanaction}} and {{SSBU|Pichu}} main and #215 {{Sm|Kizuha}} defeating 3-2 #42 {{Sm|Lax}} (both being Upset factor 5). Both finished at 193rd, with Yamanaction losing 0-3 to #95 {{Sm|NaNo}} and Lax losing 1-3 to {{SSBU|Wolf}} main and #170 {{Sm|Shori}} (UF 4).

Lv.1, after being upset early, lost 0-3 to #65 {{Sm|Omuatsu}} (UF 4), placing 49th, his worst result since {{Trn|Kagaribi 10}} one year ago, and #24 {{Sm|Toriguri}} lost 0-3 to #51 {{Sm|Gachipi}} (UF 3), finishing at 33rd. Conversely, this event was notable for being {{Sm|MkLeo}}'s best supermajor performance in months. After a close encounter with alice, choosing to play the entire set with just {{SSBU|Meta Knight}} and performing a reverse-3 stock in the final game, MkLeo barely lost to Hurt right outside of top 8 but was able to defeat Akio in yet another game 5 set using {{SSBU|Byleth}} in the final two games to enter top 8 from the loser's side, his first P-tier top 8 appearance since he won {{Trn|GENESIS 9}} in January 2023. He then decisively defeated {{Sm|Doramigi}} in a game 5 set with Meta Knight before being reverse 3-0'd by acola. With his 5th-place finish and his wins over several top players, including a player who many considered as a contender for the top 10 at that time, MkLeo's performance marks his best performance at a major since he won {{Trn|King Con}} back in February.  In addition, after losing to Kome, Zackray went on a 7-set loser's run, which includes eliminating Akakikusu and Hurt, before losing to acola to place 4th.
