Just like [[Tournament:Umebura SP 10|the last iteration in January]], the tournament gather almost all of Japan's best players, as 68 of the 84 japanese players in the [[LumiRank 2024.1|Lumirank 2024.1 top 150]] were present (notably missing was [[Smasher:Yaura|Yaura]], who is on a hiatus). Both [[Smasher:Maister|Maister]] and [[Smasher:MkLeo|MkLeo]] also came to the tournament, being the 2 main invaders.
The only two notable upsets over top players before top 256 were [[Bayonetta (SSBU)|Bayonetta]] main and #223 [[Smasher:Imokenpi|Imokenpi]] beating 3-2 #34 [[Smasher:Yamanaction|Yamanaction]] and [[Pichu (SSBU)|Pichu]] main and #215 [[Smasher:Kizuha|Kizuha]] beating 3-2 #42 [[Smasher:Lax|Lax]] (both being Upset factor 5).
