It was the eighteenth tournament in the [[Umebura (tournament series)|Umebura]] series. {{Sm|RAIN}}'s streak of four consecutive Umebura victories was ended in this tournament, after losing to {{Sm|Songun}}'s {{SSB4|Mr. Game and Watch}} and {{Sm|Hayato.}}'s {{SSB4|Toon Link}}, finishing in 13th place.
