==Tiers==
There are two separate tiers for the "Quarantine Series": major and minor tournaments. Major tournaments are reserved for top players and participants with a certain amount of points in minor tournaments. Minor tournaments are open for the general audience, and will be held once a month. The prize pool for each tournament ranges, from about $5,000 for minor tournaments to about $10,000 for major tournaments, while the grand finale tournament may have up to $50,000.

Following the first major tournament and after complaints regarding long-distance internet connections, [https://twitter.com/Alpharad/status/1257422229169754118 Alpharad announced] that all minor tournaments were to be cancelled and the next major tournament only allowed players to choose random. Furthermore, tournaments were restricted to players from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Following {{Trn|The Quarantine Series: Europe Edition!}}, no other tournaments in the series were held despite two more major tournaments and a grand finale being planned.
