'''The Gimvitational''' is an ongoing ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' invitational held in Laurel, Maryland, from June 16th-19th, 2022. The tournament was announced following {{Sm|GimR}}'s presentation on the [[slingshot]] technique and features a [[Tournament:Smash Summit (series)|Summit]]-esque voting style, where 20% of all donations and shop profits will be added to a "Player Fund," a fund that returns a percentage of money to those who make it into the nomination phase. The tournament is also experimenting with a mixed hazards on and hazard off ruleset.
