Despite the lack of interest for Brawl, it was the first European sized Smash Bros tournament to feature both Brawl and Melee events. The hosts made this effort to try to reunite both communities. While the tournament was a success in both games, the Brawl events lasted too long, and took a lot of time that was originally planned for Melee events was used for Brawl events.
