'''Smash Summit 11''' was a ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' invitational [[List of national tournaments|supermajor]] tournament. It was the eleventh installment of the [[Tournament:Smash Summit (series)|Smash Summit series]] for ''Melee'', and was held on July 15th-18th, 2021. It was held at the Beyond the Summit's Studio in Los Angeles, California, and was closed to the general public.

 

 

{{Sm|Mango}} took first place at the event, defeating {{Sm|moky}}, {{Sm|n0ne}}, {{Sm|iBDW}}, {{Sm|Plup}}, {{Sm|Hungrybox}}, and {{Sm|Zain}} twice en route to his first Summit championship. The two-set, ten-game grand finals was immediately considered an all-time classic, as Mango clawed back from an 0-2 deficit in the first set and defeated Zain's {{SSBM|Marth}} using {{SSBM|Fox}} in back-to-back games on {{SSBM|Final Destination}}, a matchup widely considered to be unfavorable for Fox. Hungrybox also had an impressive showing at the event; although his online placements had been lackluster, he defeated aMSa and iBDW to reach winners' finals before losing to Zain and Mango and finishing the event in 3rd place.
