==Controversy==
In Losers Finals, Kobe won the first two games against Epic_Gabriel with their usual mains. Epic_Gabriel, in a defeating mindset after his initial losses then asked Kobe to play random pocket characters, which Kobe accepted (Gabriel playing {{SSBU|Diddy Kong}} and Kobe {{SSBU|Little Mac}}). He managed to win the third game and with the momentum, reverse 3-0 Kobe when they went back to their mains for game 5. Epic_Gabriel went to Grands Finals and ended up winning Shell Shock. 

Many smashers and beyond, such as {{Sm|Goblin}}<ref>[https://twitter.com/GoblinFL/status/1226366196460802048]</ref> (who is friends with Epic_Gabriel), {{Sm|Sharpy}}<ref>[https://twitter.com/ItsEpic_Gabriel/status/1226377184048295936]</ref> and many Central Florida local players<ref>[https://twitter.com/BallsSSBU/status/1226366786410512385]</ref>, expressed their disappointment towards Epic_Gabriel on [[Twitter]].
