'''Royal Brawl''' was a ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' regional tournament held in San Antonio, Texas on January 22nd, 2022. Singles had a $1,300 pot bonus,<ref>{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/RoyalBrawlSA/status/1485038624236265472|title=$1,300 pot bonus}}</ref> and Guppy Bracket had a $100 pot bonus. Singles was capped at 128 entrants, doubles at 16 teams, and Guppy Bracket at 32 entrants (however, singles players and experienced players were removed). Unlike other tournaments, Guppy Bracket was restricted to players who were newer or less experienced in the tournament scene, and no one in the singles bracket could enter. The Guppy Bracket event was for less experienced players to learn more about tournaments. Dressing up was encouraged for the event but not required, mostly to keep with the winter ball theme.
