'''Road to Shine''' was an online {{forwiiu}} tournament that was held from August 6th, 2016 to August 10th, 2016. This tournament was a qualifier for the tournament {{Trn|Shine 2016}}, which allowed for any player from the USA or Canada to compete. The winner of the tournament was flown out to the event, with the rest of the top 8 not having to pay venue fee if they chose to enter Shine 2016.
