'''Revival of Melee''' was a ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' [[list of national tournaments|national tournament]] held by {{Sm|Alukard}} in Nanuet, New York, from March 7th-8th, 2009. It was the inaugural tournament of the Revival of Melee series.

This tournament was the first major gathering of the best ''Melee'' players in North America since ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''{{'}}s release a year earlier. The tournament is also known for the fourth game of the losers' finals set between {{Sm|Mew2King}} and {{Sm|DaShizWiz}}, which is regarded as one of the greatest recorded ''Melee'' matches of all time because of M2K's impeccable 3-1 comeback coupled with the reaction of the announcer.
