The tournament was a Gold-tier stop on the [[Smash World Tour 2022]]. {{Sm|Kurama}}, the highest-placing non-qualified player, qualified for the {{Trn|Panda Cup Finale}}. The Ultimate Gambler's Bracket had a $50 entry fee and was best of 1 and single elimination, with random seeding. To go with the tournament's James Bond theme, there was a ''[[wikipedia:GoldenEye 007 (1997 video game)|Goldeneye 007]]'' for Nintendo 64 bracket. There was also a ''{{s|wikipedia|Rivals of Aether}}'' bracket.

==Controversy==
On November 12th, 2022, {{Sm|Maister}} was DQd from the tournament after being denied entry from the Muckleshoot Casino after showing his Mexican ID and driver's license. According to Maister, one of the staff at the venue called him "an outsider", and that other people within the venue were not denied entry despite also being from other countries. Maister, who had also showed them his passport when asked, was further denied entry by the staff and supervisor, before later being kicked out of the property by the supervisor under threat of police action.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/Maister_SSB/status/1591561877766967296|title=Maister's tweet}}</ref>

The incident sparked outrage among the community, with accusations that the Muckleshoot Casino barring Maister's entry was racially motivated. Following the tournament, Port Priority tournament organizers refunded Maister and cut ties with Muckleshoot Casino.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/PortPriority/status/1592244670410940416|title=Refund}}</ref>

**He is also the first player from the Pacific Northwest to make Top 8 at an ''Ultimate'' Port Priority.
*{{Sm|Tweek}} tied {{Sm|MKLeo}} and {{Sm|Zackray}}'s records for longest Loser's run at an ''Ultimate'' major while still winning the tournament, winning 11 sets after losing to {{Sm|Chronos}} in Top 64.
