The '''Panda Cup Finale''' would have been the ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' and ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' finale for the {{Trn|Panda Cup}}. It was planned to be held in Los Angeles, California on December 16th-18th, 2022, but was postponed on December 4th, and later confirmed to be cancelled on November 23rd, 2023.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/PandaGlobal/status/1599631343159480321|title=Panda Cup Finale is postponed}}</ref><ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2DpSz8mpuA&t Dr Alan Reveals EVERYTHING That Happened w/ Panda! | Lights Out Episode 36]</ref> The 28 players of each game who qualified through the circuit would have participated in the tournament. A [[Tournament:Panda Cup Last Chance Qualifier|Last Chance Qualifier]] for each game was meant to be held the day before the finale (formerly planned for December 15th) with the Top 4 players qualifying,<ref>{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/KidLiquid/status/1576761760455208960|title=Top 4 qualify confirmation}}</ref> bringing the total to 32 players for each game. Several players dropped out of both the finale and the Last Chance Qualifier due to a [[Tournament:Panda Cup#Controversy|Panda Cup boycott]]. Some of the players would have been going to {{Trn|Scuffed World Tour}} hosted by {{Sm|Ludwig}} on the same weekend instead. In addition, the tournament was going to not count for [[OrionRank 2022]],<ref>{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/LoopBarnard/status/1598781882493042690|title=The Panda Cup will not count for OrionRank 2022}}</ref> and Panda Cup Finale and all future events hosted by {{Team|Panda}} will be blacklisted from [https://omegarank.com/ ΩRank].<ref>{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/OmegaRank/status/1598756202103844864|title=Panda events blacklisted from ΩRank}}</ref>  

Originally, the [[Tournament:Panda Cup Last Chance Qualifier|Last Chance Qualifier]] would be played on December 15th the Los Angeles Convention Center. Phase 1 of the finale was to take place on December 16th-17th up until the Top 8, also at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Top 8 would be played to completion on December 18th at The Novo.
