The tournament's first seed, and namesake, {{Sm|Onin}}, was upset in the final round of pools, in a game 5 set against the 32nd seed {{Sm|Artemis}}. Onin would win six rounds in losers before being upset by the 3rd seed {{Sm|Neo|p=Japan}}, ending their run at 5th.
{{Sm|X'avier}}, the 8th seed, lost to {{Sm|Ludo}} the first round of winners top 32. He would go on a five set loser run to place 4th, notably defeating the 10th seed {{Sm|Peckham}} and winning the runback on Ludo.
A few other notable runs included {{Sm|SPARKLE}}, the 18th seed, placing 7th after defeating {{Sm|Tickle}}, {{Sm|Seesaw}}, {{Sm|Eddawg}}, and {{Sm|Silver|p=Alberta}},  {{Sm|Dmitrii}}, the 26th seed, placing 17th after upsetting the 7th seed {{Sm|JDV}},and the 35th seed {{Sm|Cube}} and the 41st seed {{Sm|legit247}} placing 17th after upsetting {{Sm|SuperKernel}} and {{Sm|Liam}}, and {{Sm|Terra|p=Oregon}} and {{Sm|pacstreet}} respectively.
