Perhaps, the most notable run of the event would come from 15th seed, and eventual tournament winner {{Sm|Kurofune}}. After being upset by {{Sm|TK}} in pools, Kurofune would finish second in their group. They would then get to winners finals, after notably upsetting  1st seed {{Sm|Yamanaction}}, where they would play 3rd seed {{Sm|Leaf}}. Despite defeating Leaf in winner's finals, Leaf would manage to reset the bracket before eventually succumbing to Kurofune in grand finals.

Ko (26th seed) placed 4th after upsetting Futari no Kiwami Ah~!, Tarakotori ,and {{Sm|AyaLin}} (17th seed). {{Sm|Wanipachi}} (22nd seed) and irohasu (53rd seed) placed 5th after defeating Yamanaction and {{Sm|tameigo}} (6th seed) and {{Sm|takera}} (2nd seed),  {{Sm|NaNo}} (8th seed) and Mao respectively. Finally AyaLin would place 7th after upsetting takera and Marcos.
