It features some of the best NA players such as {{Sm|Tweek}}, {{Sm|Riddles}}, {{Sm|SHADIC}}, {{Sm|Light|p=Connecticut}}, {{Sm|MkLeo}}, {{Sm|Onin}} or {{Sm|Dabuz}} as well as several Japanese players ({{Sm|Neo|p=Japan}}, {{Sm|Kaninabe}}, {{Sm|Jogibu}} et {{Sm|M0tsunabE}}) and two top players from Europe, being {{Sm|Sisqui}} and {{Sm|Tarik}}.

In top 8, Tweek beat Syrup in a close game 5 set and entered winners side grand finals by beating Riddles 3-1, who had defeated Big D 3-1.
