*It was announced on November 1st that along with a number of changes to the event, Samtea had decided to stay retired and would not be attending the event. This led to Ignition #362 becoming another qualifying event where {{Sm|Syphir|USA}} would end up qualifying.

*It was announced on March 13th that Sir Dank would not be attending the event due to recent conduct. This led to Blast Zone #112 becoming an emergency qualifying event where {{Sm|abezuraa|USA}} would end up qualifying.

==Trivia==
*Before this tournament, ATATA had held a 4-0 record on Ikan in tournament, never having dropped a set. Ikan would go on to defeat ATATA 3-2 and 3-0 in winners finals and grand finals reset respectively to win the bracket.
*As part of the merchandise created for the event, a series of trading cards depicting famous moments, people, and events from Chicago's history were created and sold in packs to help raise votes.
*Despite having been ranked #1 in Chicago the most out of anyone in Ultimate, this was only Ned's 2nd tournament in Illinois since {{Trn|COMBO BREAKER 2024}}.
