The tournament was held on December 3rd-5th, 2021, at the Wyndham Orlando Resort International convention center in Orlando, Florida. Unlike previous iterations, ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' singles was the sole ''Super Smash Bros.'' event at the tournament.

*After the seeding for the tournament was finalized, several top players, including {{Sm|Tweek}}, {{Sm|Light|p=Connecticut}}, {{Sm|Maister}}, {{Sm|Marss}}, and {{Sm|Dabuz}},  dropped out due to various reasons.
