Tiki Buzzes debuted in ''Donkey Kong Country Returns'', and are the equivalent to the [[Necky|Neckies]] of previous games. They are weak flying enemies that can be jumped on as makeshift trampolines, destroying them. Tiki Buzzes often fly in fixed patterns, and they come in multiple varieties. Two such varieties are set ablaze, and require [[Donkey Kong]] or [[Diddy Kong]] to either blow out the fire surrounding them, or throw a {{s|mariowiki|barrel}} at them.
The Tiki Buzzes appear in [[Smash Run]], a mode exclusive to the 3DS version of the game. Similarly to [[Goomba]]s, attacking these enemies works normally, but jumping on them kills them instantly and gives characters greater height in their jumps, just like in ''Donkey Kong Country Returns''.

Tiki Buzzes appear as enemies. They fly around, position themselves above the player and attack by slamming into the ground. After a short while they fly back up. They can be attacked normally but, like [[Goomba]]s, jumping on them defeats them instantly, even giving the player a huge vertical boost, like a [[Spring]].
When Tiki Tong Tower emerged from the volcano on Donkey Kong Island, it summoned several Tikis to aid in collecting bananas. The Tiki Buzz was among those Tikis.


A large number of Tiki Buzzes can appear as a random event.
In levels, the Tiki Buzzes were usually weak flying enemies that could be jumped on as makeshift platforms. Jumping on them destroys them. Tiki Buzzes often flew in fixed patterns, and they came in multiple varieties. Two such varieties were set ablaze, and required DK or Diddy to either blow out the fire surrounding them, or throw a barrel at them.


Tiki Buzzes appear as part of the {{uv|Donkey Kong}}-themed waves of the generic ''Vs. Enemy Team'' final battle.
