*[[Living Room]] is the only stage from a 2000s game not present in the event. Although it is specifically based off of ''{{s|wikipedia|Nintendogs + Cats}}'', released in 2011, the general concept first appeared in the original ''{{s|wikipedia|Nintendogs}}'', released in 2005.

*Oddly, even though Battlefield can be played on in the event, {{SSBU|Final Destination}} cannot, despite both (Battlefield and Final Destinations in general, not the specific versions) debuting in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', which released in 2001.

*Despite the {{SSBU|Mii Fighters}} being the {{SSBU|Mii Brawler}}, {{SSBU|Mii Swordfighter}}, and {{SSBU|Mii Gunner}} debuting in [[SSB4]] which released in 2014. The Mii Fighters are incorrectly representing the Miis themselves which released with the Wii in Mii Channel.
